Something is happening at Weird Frequencies.
A few weeks ago we put out the call — to near-death researchers, Bigfoot men, horror authors, doom metal singers, and the keepers of America’s strangest cases — and the call got answered. What follows is the most stacked guest slate in this show’s five-year history, and every name on it is confirmed.
Sunday, November 8 opens with Springfield’s own Eric Woods, the horror author whose small-town nightmares start right here in central Illinois. Hour two belongs to Daniel Perez, editor and publisher of Bigfoot Times since 1998 and compiler of the definitive Patterson-Gimlin film bibliography. The most famous 59 seconds of film in cryptozoology, from the man who has spent his life documenting it.
Sunday, November 15, we welcome a genuine legend: Stan Gordon. Investigating UFO and Bigfoot reports since 1959, Stan was on the ground for the 1965 Kecksburg incident and has run Pennsylvania’s anomaly hotline for decades. Sixty-plus years of case files, one phone line, one night.
Sunday, November 22 brings Jeff Belanger — writer for Ghost Adventures, host of New England Legends, and author of more than a dozen books on the haunted world. If you’ve watched paranormal television in the last twenty years, you’ve heard Jeff’s research whether you knew it or not.
Sunday, November 29 splits the night in two. Hour one: Patrick Dunn, an Ohio State PhD researcher studying CE-5 and UFO contact who is also an ordained Zen priest — science and spirituality in the same chair. Hour two: Chicago death metal outfit Necronomicon Ex Mortis, channeling H.P. Lovecraft at full volume.
Sunday, December 13 pairs two Chicago institutions: Dale Kaczmarek, president of the Ghost Research Society since 1982 and the godfather of Windy City ghost hunting, followed by Paul Kuhr, the voice of doom metal legends Novembers Doom.
Sunday, December 20 is Ashmore Estates night — current owner Ashley Burgoon joined by former owner Robbin Terry, telling the story of Illinois’ haunted poor farm from the inside.
Sunday, December 27, Sam Maranto, Illinois State Director of MUFON and a lead investigator of the 2004 Tinley Park mass UFO sightings, closes out the year.
And the new year opens with two of the biggest gets in the show’s history. On Sunday, January 17, Mark Ireland joins us — the afterlife researcher whose work on near-death experiences and the evidence for survival of consciousness has made him one of the most sought-after voices in the field. Then on Sunday, January 31, Jacob Cooper — bestselling author of Life After Breath, clinical social worker, and hypnotherapist whose own childhood near-death experience led him to a career in past-life and life-between-lives regression.
More announcements are coming. This list is not finished growing.
Weird Frequencies airs live every Sunday, 8–10 PM Central, on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Rumble, with episodes afterward on Spotify, Amazon Music, Pocket Casts, iHeartRadio, Castbox, and Podchaser. Pull up a chair. The frequency is crowded — and it’s about to get stranger.
