The honest version
Weird Frequencies has been on the air for five years. Every Sunday at 8 PM Central, Rob Hansen — with co-hosts Adam Gentry and Tyler DeWitt — goes live with paranormal investigators, UFO researchers, authors, and experiencers, and around 4,000 listeners tune in every week. It has always been free, and it has always been paid for out of Rob’s own pocket: $88 a month for StreamYard, the website, the gear.
That arrangement ends this year, one way or another.
The test: from now through December 31, Weird Frequencies is listener-funded. If support covers the show’s costs and becomes real, sustaining support, the show continues into 2027 — with the live events, documentaries, and extra episodes we’ve promised. If it doesn’t, we’ll say so plainly, close out the year with a farewell run, and thank everyone who rode with us. And to be clear about it: there is no successor and no handover — if the support isn’t there, Rob hangs up the headphones and Weird Frequencies ends. No hard feelings, and no pretending either way.
We won’t hound you about it, either. This page says what’s what; on the show we’ll read the count from time to time, like a score. What you do with it is up to you.

- $1,500/month is full steam: the bills paid, live events funded, documentaries in production.
- We’ll update the count on the show and on this page as it moves. What you see is what’s real.

Questions
What happens on December 31? We count the patrons and the dollars, on the show, out loud. If the support is there, we announce the 2027 season. If it isn’t, we announce the farewell run — January is goodbye, and the show ends. Nobody else is taking it over. You’ll never have to guess.
Where does the money go first? The bills — StreamYard and the website. Then live events. Then production: the documentaries and bonus content.
Is the Sunday show still free? Yes — every regular episode stays free for everyone, whatever happens. Supporters get more, not the show held hostage.
