Stan Gordon Identifies Pennsylvania’s Mystery Light — a Rocket (and Why That Matters)

Pennsylvanians who were up before dawn on October 13 saw something strange: a glowing white-blue “ball of hot gas” crossing the sky over Westmoreland County. Calls and photos poured in to researcher Stan Gordon — who will be our guest on Weird Frequencies on November 15.

Gordon recognized the photos almost immediately. NASA’s schedule confirmed it: a SpaceX Falcon 9 had lifted off from Cape Canaveral at 6:33 a.m. EDT on a resupply run to the International Space Station, and its exhaust plume matched the reports from Arona, Luxor, and Crabtree minute for minute.

Here’s why we’re posting a solved case: this is what real investigation sounds like. Gordon — researching since 1959, the man behind the Kecksburg work — debunks his own side’s reports when the evidence says so. And in the same report he notes that numerous other Pennsylvania sightings this year are not so easily explained.

Hear the rest from Stan himself, live, November 15 at 8 PM Central.
